PHOTOGRAPHIC VITA

Kurt Joachim Kase Abstraction PhotographyEven as a pupil, I published black-and-white photographs in the daily paper Schwarzwälder Bote and in the magazines Fotomagazin, Klick and some teen magazines.

During my career - for example, in marketing at Nino AG and at Louis Féraud's in Paris - I was responsible for commissioning fashion photographers and choosing among their images. I worked with, among others, Christo and his photographer Wolfgang Volz.

In 2005, I returned to working as a photographer myself. My work is focused on abstraction, on nature and landscape as well as documentary photography.

I took part in several group exhibitions at Treffpunkt Rotebühlplatz in Stuttgart, and my photographs are included in two photobooks of the photographic group "Blau". My images are sold via a private network mainly in France and Germany (mostly in large formats).
